Two Halves, One Order
The eliminator that satisfies the controller and the blanks that close the heads. A Tuono with an aftermarket exhaust needs both rather than either.
Modified Early
Very few Factories stay standard past the first season. An exhaust and a map arrive quickly and the deletion belongs before the map.
The Sequence
Seat, tank, hoses, housings, blanks, connector. One evening with ordinary tools and no diagnostic session afterwards.
Öhlins Smart EC 2.0
Semi-active damping set up by describing what the bike should do rather than by counting clicks. It is genuinely easier to use than the alternatives.

The V4 carries the arrangement on each cylinder head, so two blanks come with the kit.

An Exhaust Comes First
On almost every Factory the silencer is changed before anything else, and that is exactly the moment the overrun becomes impossible to ignore. Doing the air deletion in the same session saves taking the tank off a second time a fortnight later.
Semi-Active on a Naked Bike
Electronically managed damping does more work here than on a faired machine because the rider moves around far more and the weight transfer is less predictable. It is the clearest justification for the Factory premium.
