The JP ES 007 removes the ZX-10 RR's KLEEN solenoid out of the circuit without a warning appearing.

A Homologation Special
Kawasaki builds the RR in limited numbers to satisfy a World Superbike regulation, with titanium rods, a lighter crank and a higher rev ceiling.
Five Hundred Motorcycles
Roughly the annual production, which is what the rules require and no more. It is the closest thing to a factory race bike Kawasaki sells.
Type Approval
The system belongs to the motorcycle's approval in every market that mandates it, and deleting it moves the machine into competition use there.
Why the Controller Bothers
Regulations require the system to be demonstrably working rather than merely present, and the self-test exists to satisfy that. It does its job faithfully and without discrimination.
Blocking the Hose Achieves Nothing
The reeds stay in place and the ports stay open behind them. A blocked line redirects the problem rather than removing it, and the residue simply collects somewhere else.
Fitted at the Same Time as the Rest
Most owners do this alongside a filter change or a tail tidy, because all of it is the same evening's work and the same bodywork.
A Straight Swap
Unplug the valve, plug in the eliminator, secure the lead. There is no third step and no configuration of any kind at any point.
On a Bike Being Sold
Refitting the original valve takes ten minutes and hands the next owner a motorcycle with nothing to explain. The parts are small enough that keeping them costs nothing at all.
A Job Best Done Once
Combining this with a filter change, an exhaust fitting or a coolant service means the disassembly is paid for by something else. Doing it in isolation is entirely possible and a slightly wasteful use of an evening that could have covered three jobs.
