A Full Dress Tourer
Seventeen hundred cubic centimetres, hard bags and a screen. The Nomad is Kawasaki's answer to American touring cruisers and it is a serious one.

Wet, which is enormous by any measure and entirely normal for the category. It carries the weight remarkably low.
Where the Popping Starts
Unburnt mixture leaving the cylinder meets fresh oxygen in a hot header and ignites there. It has nothing to do with fuelling, nothing to do with the silencer and everything to do with a valve most owners do not know exists.

Kawasaki splits the system between an electrical circuit and a mechanical assembly, and the aftermarket follows. Doing both is a complete deletion; doing one is a partial one, and there is no shame in stopping halfway if that is what the owner wants.
