A Racing Engine on the Road
Triumph supplied the Moto2 grid with the 765 and then sold a limited road version carrying the same specification. It is the sharpest Daytona built.
Constant Throttle Surging
A lean cruise setting produces a slight hunting at steady speeds that riders learn to ignore. It is the most common complaint about modern fuel injection and it is the thing a fuel module is best placed to address.
Plug and Play, Literally
The harness ends in the connectors the motorcycle already uses. They separate, the module goes in between and they close again. Nobody needs a wiring diagram and nobody needs to strip insulation.
Lambda Control Is Not Bypassed
The module works with the oxygen sensor loop rather than around it. Nothing is disconnected, spoofed or hidden, which is one reason the fault memory stays clean.
Twenty Minutes to an Hour
Depending on where the injector harness runs. On most machines it is a seat, four connectors and a cable tie, and on a few it is a fuel tank as well.
Why Any of This Is Necessary
Emissions regulation has tightened faster than engines have changed, and manufacturers meet it partly by running lean where the test looks. The consequence is felt by the rider rather than measured by the laboratory.
The Airbox Lid
Owners sometimes drill or remove it hoping for the same result. That changes airflow without changing fuel and generally makes the mixture problem worse rather than better.
Not a Cure for Age
An engine with worn valve guides or low compression runs badly for mechanical reasons. Adding fuel masks a symptom and delays a repair that will only get more expensive.
