The JP MJ 008 is the simpler of JetPrime's two fuel units for the F4RC LH 1000: a curve somebody else worked out, rather than one the owner has to develop.

A Numbered Edition
MV built the Lewis Hamilton version in a strictly limited run on the RC specification. The livery is the difference; the engine is not.
Against a Full Remap
Flashing the original controller changes ignition timing, rev limits and rider aids as well as fuelling, and it needs specialist equipment. A module is narrower, cheaper and reversible in a minute, which suits an owner who wants one problem solved.
Injector Opening Time
Everything a fuel module does comes down to holding the injector open fractionally longer or shorter than the standard controller intended. There is no other mechanism and no magic in it; the precision comes from knowing by how much and when.
With a Sports Filter
The effect mirrors an exhaust change and the answer is the same. Owners who fit both are further from the factory mixture than either change alone would put them.
The Clearest Case
Older injection, an aftermarket silencer and a rider who notices the hesitation off a closed throttle. That combination is what this module was drawn for.
Riding at Part Throttle
Which is nearly all riding. A change confined to the first quarter of travel sounds minor and is felt constantly, which is the opposite of how most tuning parts work.
Riding Modes Still Work
On a ride-by-wire machine the rain and sport settings continue to shape the throttle exactly as before. The module operates downstream of all of that and cannot see which mode is selected.
Why Response Is Not Power
Two motorcycles with identical peak figures can feel completely different because of what happens in the first fraction of throttle travel. That difference is worth more on a road than ten horsepower at the top.
