A Torque Assist Clutch
Light at the lever and forgiving in traffic, which is where most Street Scramblers spend the majority of their lives.

Switchable traction control and ABS, which Triumph fitted because a few owners genuinely use the capability and everybody else likes knowing it is there.
What Fills the Bed
Vapour, until it cannot take any more. Nothing in the service schedule ever renews the charcoal, so on a high-mileage motorcycle it has usually stopped working.
Both Ends of the Job
The tank vent and the purge circuit both need answering. A kit that supplies only one of them leaves half a conversion behind.

What the Purge Valve Does Wrong
When the bed is saturated it delivers liquid fuel rather than vapour into the inlet tract, which is why a flooded canister produces a rich, uneven idle rather than simply doing nothing.
Not the Fuel Pump
Hard starting gets blamed on the pump regularly, and a pump is an expensive thing to replace on a hunch. Checking the evaporative system first is free.
Twin Purpose, Honestly Stated
Triumph never claimed the Street Scrambler was a serious off-road machine, and the specification reflects that honesty. It will handle a gravel track and a green lane, and anybody expecting more has misread both the tyres and the weight.
