DescriptionThe whole story▼
A KTM 690 Enduro R (2014-2024) fitted with Jetprime's quick throttle needs somewhere for the displaced right-hand controls to go; the JP PDQ KT032 E in Bronze, machined from Ergal, mounts them directly on the new throttle body.
Key Features
- KTM 690 Enduro R (2014–2024)
- Fits KTM 690 Enduro R (2014-2024)
- Mounts on the quick throttle, separate from the handlebar
- CNC-machined Ergal, bronze anodised finish
- Factory connector, no wiring changes needed
- Keeps horn, indicator and light controls working
- Built only for use with the Jetprime quick throttle
Control Before Speed
A shorter throttle action on an enduro bike is not primarily about acceleration. On loose ground the point is reaching full opening within one wrist movement made while standing, without regripping halfway through a climb, which is why this conversion suits the Enduro R specifically.
A Fixed Point Instead of Loose Wires
Removing the stock throttle for the quick-action version takes its switchblock along with it. Rather than leaving horn and indicator wiring to dangle against the frame, this housing gives those controls a permanent mounting on the replacement throttle body, bolted rather than taped in place.
Machined to Survive Dirt
A solid Ergal block holds up to the knocks a bike ridden off-road generates better than a moulded housing would, and the bronze anodising applied after machining is part of the surface rest, not a layer that chips off against rocks and roots.
Plugged In, Not Spliced
The wiring terminates in KTM's original connector, so no cutting or re-pinning of the bike's harness is required to fit this switch, and no trace is left if the throttle is ever swapped back to standard, which matters on a bike often used for long, remote routes.
Sealed Switch Elements for Wet Conditions
Enduro riding means river crossings and mud rather than a clean garage floor, and sealed, military-specification contacts inside a machined block are built with exactly that kind of ingress in mind, which is also why the stock switchgear on this model is a frequent point of failure after years off-road.
