The thermoplastic polyurethane compound is selected specifically for its balance of hardness and controlled wear: hard enough to resist rapid degradation, yet engineered to slide progressively so you gain meaningful information about chassis attitude and lean angle rather than abrupt grip changes. The contact geometry is shaped to sit flush against the asphalt in a natural knee-down position, eliminating the rocking or edge-catching that can unsettle a rider mid-corner.

The Dainese Pista knee slider is designed to attach to leather race suits and track-day suits fitted with compatible Velcro knee-pad areas, as used across the Dainese racing suit range.
