CK27220 is the belly pan of the ZX-6R race bodywork. Its first job is regulatory — circuit rules require the lower fairing to retain the engine's oil — and its second is finding room to do that around an exhaust system designed to meet Euro 5.

The Euro 5 Complication
The ZX-6R is the last 600-class supersport still homologated for European roads, and it earns that with a catalyst and silencer package that takes up real space under the engine. A belly pan has to enclose a defined oil volume without touching any of it, and that is a tighter problem on this bike than it was on the previous generation. Moulding around the actual hardware rather than adapting an older pan is the difference between one that passes scrutineering and one that fouls the collector on the first hot lap.
Where the Numbers Go
Worth thinking about before paint: the belly pan is where most series put the class sticker and where a lot of teams run sponsor names, because it is the part of the bike that appears in every side-on photograph. Bare carbon looks good and takes vinyl badly once it has been through a few heat cycles. If stickers are part of the plan, paint or clear the pan first.
