Light, narrow and playful, the Moto Guzzi V7 II Scrambler 750 is great fun on a twisting road, and some owners enjoy riding it hard or entering it in a relaxed track day. For them Accossato lists the AGPA96 front pad in the EV1 street/track compound, which gives the single front disc a sharper bite and holds up to repeated hard stops. Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's EV1 compound is designed for riders who enjoy pace on the road and occasionally on a circuit. The company promises excellent grip in both situations, which means the pad works from cold yet stays effective as temperatures rise. On the V7 II Scrambler, where one front disc does all the work, a pad with more initial bite gives the rider more confidence when braking late for a bend. Accossato also cites low wear and good fade resistance.
A Playful Scrambler
On a narrow, twisting road, the V7 II Scrambler can be ridden with enthusiasm. Each tight bend needs a firm, precise stop, and EV1 delivers a clearer response than a road pad. OR and ST are the calmer everyday options for AGPA96, while EV2 and ZXC are racing mixtures.
With fresh pads fitted, work the lever until the travel is short, then bed the linings on a quiet road with a series of stops that grow steadily firmer. Keep the disc clean and check the lining often if you ride hard.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA96 for the V7 II 750 Scrambler of 2016. One box supplies the single front caliper. For the rear, Accossato offers AGPA28 for the same year. Clean the caliper pistons and inspect the disc before fitting; a disc with a pronounced lip at its outer edge will stop fresh EV1 linings from seating properly and is worth replacing before a track outing on the Scrambler.
Road Approval
We hold no German ABE or approval certificate for this pad; it is offered for track and competition use.
