DescriptionThe whole story▼
This Accossato kit covers the front brake circuit of the non-ABS Yamaha MT-10 built in 2016 and 2017, supplying three hoses and leaving the rear line out of the scope of this part. Front-only coverage like this usually reflects how the factory wired the circuit on a particular model year rather than any deliberate limitation Accossato has chosen, and it means a rider wanting the rear line upgraded as well needs to source it separately. Even without a full ABS circuit to account for, the MT-10's brake caliper is still a serious piece of hardware, and a cleaner, more direct hose makes it easier to modulate at the limit.
Key Features
- Three-hose set covering the MT-10's front brake lines
- Built for the non-ABS 2016–2017 MT-10
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings, the only finish offered for this part
- Every hose in the kit finished to the same specification
Construction and Material Quality
Each hose combines a stainless braid sheath with fittings made from stainless steel, supplied only bare on this part. The twenty available braid colours give the front end plenty of finish options even though the kit does not extend to the rear hose.
Why This Kit Covers the Front Only
Accossato's own listing for this model year specifies the front brake lines alone, which is why the hose count here is three rather than the seven needed for a full ABS circuit. That stands in contrast to the 2016–2020 MT-10 and MT-10 SP with ABS, where Accossato supplies a complete seven-hose set covering both ends of the bike.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the non-ABS Yamaha MT-10 built in 2016 and 2017. Riders with the ABS-equipped version or SP built from 2016 to 2020 should instead choose Accossato's seven-hose Standard-layout kit, part AGA0060, which covers the full front-and-rear circuit on those bikes. Because this part covers the front circuit only, a workshop fitting it alongside other upgrades should order the rear hose separately if a full braided conversion is wanted on this early bike.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 3 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
