The championship silencer as a serviceable part. Spark's Konix Evo group for the Daytona 765 Moto 2 is the section of a WSSP system that gets damaged, changed and replaced — sold separately so the collector underneath can stay where it is.
Key Features
- Titanium link pipe with carbon cover and Konix Evo silencer.
- Triumph Daytona 765 Moto 2, 2019 to 2023.
- Fits only Spark's GTR8815 or GTR8817 collector.
- Konix Evo: the same case used in the SuperSport 600 World Championship.
- All-titanium construction including the perforated inner tube and inner end cap.
- Takes the G9999 dB killer.
The Part That Gets Replaced
An exhaust does not wear out evenly. The collector sits high and protected under the engine and can outlast several seasons; the link pipe and silencer hang low, wide and behind the rear wheel, and they are what a low-side finds first.
Spark splitting the system at that boundary is a service decision rather than a sales one. A group like this restores a crashed bike for around a third of what a complete system costs, and the geometry Spark developed with the Moto2 technicians stays on the motorcycle.
What a World Championship Case Is
Spark states that the Konix Evo is the same silencer used in the SuperSport 600 World Championship, with a titanium body and a carbon fibre end cap. It is built entirely in titanium — the outer sleeve, the perforated inner tube and the inner end cap all — which is unusual, because two of those three are parts nobody ever sees.
Making them titanium is a weight decision taken where it cannot be admired. That is a reasonable definition of a racing part: the money goes where the stopwatch sees it rather than where the customer does.
Two Groups, One Collector
Spark lists two silencer groups for the Daytona on this collector: this one with the Konix Evo, and GTR8823ST with the 350 mm Force Evo, at the same price.
The Konix Evo is a smooth conical case and the louder of the two; the Force Evo carries a rib into its end cap and is the one Spark reaches for when a sound limit is part of the brief. Both mount to the same collector, so a rider running both circuits and sound checks can own two silencers and one front end.
Ordering It Right
Two things decide whether this is the correct number for your motorcycle. First the collector: Spark lists the group for the GTR8815 and GTR8817 only, so a standard Daytona front end rules it out. Second the generation: this group and its Force Evo twin are the pair Spark lists against the Daytona, while GTR8828ST and GTR8827ST cover the Daytona and the Street Triple together.
If you are unsure which collector is on the bike, the material tells you — GTR8815 is titanium, GTR8817 stainless — and both take this group.
Fitment & Compatibility
Triumph Daytona 765 Moto 2, 2019 through 2023, on the Spark GTR8815 or GTR8817 collector only. The Force Evo version is GTR8823ST. The current-generation groups covering the Street Triple as well are GTR8828ST and GTR8827ST. The complete Moto2 replica system is GTR8815T.
Road Approval
None. No EC certificate and no catalytic converter in the system. Closed circuits only.
