DescriptionThe whole story▼
The 300 SR is CFMOTO's smallest faired sportbike. The JP PD CF031 replaces its right-hand switch with a body machined from Ergal 7075 on a universal clamp pattern.
Key Features
- CFMOTO 300 SR (2024)
- Universal hole pattern for either master cylinder
- Full street control set
- CNC-milled Ergal 7075
- Sealed switch elements
- Plug-and-play on the original connector
A Single-Cylinder Sportbike
Where the 450 SR uses a parallel twin, the 300 SR runs a 292 cc single in bodywork styled to look like something considerably faster. It is aimed at riders on a restricted licence and at markets where displacement is taxed, and it is more capable than the specification sheet suggests.
A Single Model Year
This fitment covers 2024 only. CFMOTO revises its range quickly and the 300 SR has moved on, which makes the year unusually important here. A machine registered outside that window needs a different part and it is worth checking rather than matching on the model name.
First Bikes Get Modified First
Motorcycles in this class belong to riders who are enthusiastic and often on their first machine, and they get personalised more thoroughly than anything else in a showroom. Levers, bar ends and mirrors go on early. The switch housing is usually noticed once everything around it has already been changed.
Universal Holes
The clamp pattern accepts both aligned and offset master cylinder geometry, which keeps a later brake upgrade straightforward. On a small bike where the standard brake is the component most likely to be improved, that is a sensible piece of foresight.
Built Above the Class
Ergal 7075 milled from solid, with sealed switch elements. It is the same construction JetPrime uses on superbike switchgear, applied to a 292 cc motorcycle, which is either excessive or exactly the point depending on how long the owner intends to keep the bike.
