DescriptionThe whole story▼

Few bikes are as well suited to long, loaded trips as the Suzuki GSX1250FA. With its fairing, strong low-down pull and comfortable riding position, many owners tour two-up with full luggage in all seasons. AGPA75 in the Sintered (ST) mixture is Accossato's front pad for the GSX1250FA from 2015 to 2018, aimed at those travellers who ride through rain and cold and want consistent bite whether the brakes are cold, hot or wet.

Key Features

  • Front pads for the Suzuki GSX1250FA, 2015 to 2018
  • Sintered compound, SKU AGPA75ST
  • High, constant grip at all temperatures, per Accossato
  • Good grip on wet roads
  • For loaded two-up touring
  • Rear pad AGPP88 listed
  • Bandit and Traveller versions covered
  • No German approval papers; sold for competition

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says the Sintered compound keeps a high and constant grip at low and high temperatures and grips well in the wet. On a heavy tourer with a passenger and cases, that consistency is what keeps the lever feel familiar on a long wet descent. Accossato also cites slow wear, controlled heat with little fade, and strong stopping.

Heavy Tourer, Long Descents

A fully loaded GSX1250FA with two riders is a substantial weight to slow down, particularly on steep alpine roads. On the way down, the front calipers do most of the work, and the pads heat up and cool down again with every hairpin. If rain arrives, the discs are wet as well. A pad that stays predictable through all of that lets the rider brake smoothly and confidently. Before a long tour, check both front sets and the discs, and replace brake fluid that is past its interval. New pads should be bedded in before the trip, not on the first pass.

Fitment and Compatibility

AGPA75 is listed by Accossato for the GSX 1250 FA Bandit (2016 to 2018) and the GSX 1250 FA Traveller (2015 to 2016), so it covers the GSX1250FA from 2015 to 2018. With two front calipers, the bike needs two boxes for a full front change. The rear pad is AGPP88. The same front pad is also made as Organic, EV1 street/track and EV2 racing.

Road Approval

AGPA75ST has no ABE or German approval document on file, and is therefore listed for motorsport use.

Scope of Delivery
