DescriptionThe whole story▼
The F3 675 was built with the supersport class in mind, and it has been raced from club level upwards. In a race, the clutch lever has one big moment: the start. Everything that follows depends on the few seconds in which the lever goes from fully pulled to fully released. The Accossato ESM048 is a clutch lever for the MV Agusta F3 675 of 2012 to 2020, machined from aluminium, anodised in seven blade colours and adjustable for its distance to the grip, with a choice of short, standard and long blades.

- Clutch lever for the F3 675, 2012 to 2020
- Accossato's entry also names the Oro and RC versions
- Mounts at the original clutch mounting
- Adjustable reach
- Blade lengths short, standard (approximately 138 mm) and long
- CNC-machined aluminium, anodised; black hub
- Rigid, with no folding joint
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato was founded in 1969 in Moncalieri, near Turin, as a maker of competition motorcycles, and racing still shapes the way it thinks about parts. The ESM048 is machined from aluminium and anodised, with the hub, which contains the pivot and the adjuster, in black and the blade in black, blue, red, orange, gold, silver or green. The colour is part of the metal's surface rather than a coating. Hub and blade are one rigid piece, so the friction point cannot wander between the warm-up lap and the flag.
Waiting for the Lights to Go Out
A race start on an F3 675 takes a few seconds and a lot of preparation. On the grid the revs are held steady and the lever is pulled in; when the lights go out, it comes back to the friction point, stays there while the bike gathers speed, and is then released completely. Come off the lever too quickly and the front wheel rises or the engine bogs down; hold it at the friction point too long and the riders alongside are already gone. What decides the outcome is repeatability. A start that works in practice has to work again in the race, and that begins with the lever sitting in exactly the same place under your fingers every time. Set the ESM048 so that the friction point arrives with your fingers comfortably curved, then practise starts at a test day until the movement runs by itself. Some riders like the short blade for a compact two-finger release; others stay with the standard length. The long blade, made in blue, gold, green and orange, needs the least effort to hold in while you wait on the grid.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's entry for the F3 675 lists the ESM048 from 2012 to 2020 and names several versions of the bike, among them the Oro and the RC. The lever replaces the stock one at the clutch mounting. For the front brake, the EDF035 is listed from 2013 to 2020.
Road Approval
The ESM048 comes without documented German road approval (ABE); we sell it for racing on closed circuits.
