DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Hypermotard 950 has a tall seat, and riders of average height know the routine at a red light: one foot down, often on the toes, the bike leaning slightly, the clutch held in while you wait. In that moment the left hand has two jobs, keeping the clutch disengaged and helping to balance the bike. Made from machined aluminium, the Accossato ESH011 replaces the clutch lever of the 2019 to 2022 Hypermotard 950, and its adjustable reach can make both jobs easier.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato has been part of motorcycling since 1969, when it was founded in Moncalieri near Turin to build competition machines. Its levers are cut from solid aluminium on CNC machines and anodised, and the ESH011 follows that pattern: a black hub at the pivot end with the reach setting built in, and a blade anodised in one of seven colours. The blade is fixed, with no folding joint, so the lever that keeps the clutch disengaged at a red light does so without any play of its own.
On Tiptoes at the Lights
When only the ball of one foot reaches the road, balance is a matter of small corrections, and a clutch lever that has to be held at full stretch makes those corrections harder. The hand is working against the clutch while it also steadies the bars. Bringing the blade closer to the grip means the fingers can hold the clutch with less effort and the palm stays in firm contact with the grip, which is what actually keeps the bike upright. Riders with smaller hands notice the difference most.
The long blade can help too, because its extra length spreads the pull over more fingers and lowers the force each one needs; it is made in blue, gold, green and orange. And when the wait is long, selecting neutral lets the hand rest completely.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list gives 2019 to 2022 for the ESH011 on the Hypermotard 950. Its brake-side partner, the EDF099, is listed for a longer span, 2019 to 2025. If your Hypermotard 950 was built after 2022, Accossato names the brake lever but not this clutch lever, so check the model year in your documents before ordering.
Road Approval
Not covered by a documented German ABE; supplied for use on the race track.
