The Moto2 silencer of a world champion, on the current Z900. Spark's Grid-O for the Euro5+ machine is the same full titanium case Enea Bastianini used to take the 2020 title, with the outlet grid that gives the family its name.
Key Features
- Euro5+ homologated slip-on for the Kawasaki Z900, 2025 to 2026.
- Grid-O silencer: full titanium, with integrated outlet grid.
- The same silencer used in Moto2 by Bastianini, 2020 world champion.
- Carbon fibre heat shield on the pipe, included.
- Titanium develops its characteristic bluish tones with use.
- The most assertive of Spark's Z900 slip-ons.
Created for Track Use, Sold With Papers
Spark describes this slip-on as created for track use and gives it a decidedly racing look — and then homologates it to Euro5+. Both statements are true at once, and the combination is the point.
The silencer is not a road interpretation of a race part. It is the race part, certified as part of an assembly that meets the newer standard. That is a rarer thing than the marketing around most slip-ons would suggest.
The Grid, and the Blue
The integrated grid across the outlet is the visual signature of Spark's racing silencers and the reason a Grid-O is recognisable from behind at a distance.
Spark also states plainly what the titanium will do: it takes on characteristic bluish tones with exposure to the heat of the exhaust gases. That happens at the front of the case first and it is permanent. On this silencer it is generally regarded as part of the appeal — but it is worth knowing before rather than after.
The Heat Shield Is Included
Spark supplies a carbon fibre heat shield positioned on the connecting pipe, and describes it as blending with the lines of the Z900. On a naked bike that is a functional part as much as a visual one — the pipe runs past the rider's boot with nothing between them.
Because it is made for this motorcycle it sits where the routing puts it, rather than where a universal shield can be clamped.
Grid-O or Konix Evo
Spark offers two silencers on this motorcycle and they answer different questions. The Konix Evo is the finished one — angular, with a carbon end cap, drawn to blend with the Z900's own lines. The Grid-O is the racing one, with the grid on show and welds left unground.
The Grid-O costs around forty euros more and is the more extreme of the two in every respect except approval, where they are equal. If the motorcycle is meant to look like it came from a paddock, this is it; if it is meant to look designed, the Konix Evo is.
Two and a Half Kilos, Either Way
Spark quotes 1.7 kg for its Euro5+ Z900 slip-ons against a 4.3 kg standard silencer. Whichever case you choose, roughly two and a half kilos come off the tail of the motorcycle.
On a naked bike that mass sits low, to one side and well behind the centre — the least useful position it could occupy. Removing most of it is the single cheapest handling change available on a Z900.
Fitment & Compatibility
Kawasaki Z900, 2025 through 2026. The racing version is GKA0908T. The Konix Evo slip-ons for the same machine are GKA0907TOM in titanium and GKA0907DOM in electro-coloured dark. Spark's limited edition titanium racing collector is GKA8503.

Euro5+ homologated. Legal for road use as supplied.
