DescriptionThe whole story▼
For owners who take their MV Agusta Superveloce 800 racing for a whole weekend, Accossato offers the AGPA106 front pad in the ZXC ceramic racing compound, article AGPA106ZXC, catalogued for the Superveloce 800 in model year 2019. It is a pad for circuit competition, meant for riders who plan their brake setup around practice, qualifying and races and who want to understand how the pads behave as the weekend progresses.
Key Features
- AGPA106ZXC front pads for the MV Agusta Superveloce 800
- Listed for 2019
- ZXC ceramic racing compound, ideal for racing according to Accossato
- For weekends with several sessions and a race
- Suits riders who record setup and wear
- Plate also available as ST, EV1 and EV2
- Competition use only; no German approval documents
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls ZXC a ceramic compound ideal for racing and publishes nothing further about its composition. We keep to that. The purpose is clear: a pad for competition, designed to keep working through long circuit days. Accossato's general claims of slow wear, strong stopping power and fade kept under control by limited heat apply to this compound as well. The ceramic layer is bonded to the AGPA106 plate, which fits the standard front calipers of the Superveloce.
Notes From the Pit Box
Riders who race regularly often keep a notebook for each bike: tyre pressures, suspension clicks, gearing and the date each set of pads went in. For a Superveloce on track, noting how the lever feels on a cold morning track compared with a hot afternoon, and how much material is left after each day, makes it easier to decide when a set should be retired.
Have spare pads, brake cleaner and a piston tool ready. Clean the pistons before pushing them back, check the discs for grooves and pump the lever until firm before the bike goes out.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPA106 is Accossato's front pad for the MV Agusta Superveloce 800 in model year 2019. At the rear the catalogue lists AGPA42 for 2014 to 2025, and there is no Accossato disc for this model. If your bike is from another year, hold the old pad against the new one before fitting. The front has two calipers, so a complete set is two boxes.
Road Approval
AGPA106ZXC is offered for racing and competition because we have no ABE or German approval mark for it.
Scope of Delivery
Two ZXC ceramic pads for one front caliper, in a single box.
