Sixty or Sixty-Five

Spark builds this case with two inlet diameters and nothing else between them: this article at 60 mm and G00SI29T at 65 mm, both 300 mm long and both the same price. The choice is dictated by the link pipe you are building, not by the engine.

If the pipework already exists, measure it. If it does not, 60 mm is the more common outlet size on mid-capacity machines and the easier one to find stock tube for.

What Evo Changed

The original Konix was titanium on the outside. The Evo took the material inward — the perforated core and the internal cap are titanium as well, which is where the weight went and why the case feels implausibly light in the hand for its size.

The visible difference is small. The one on the scale is not.

The Profile

Konix is a wedge: flat-sided, tapering, cut back at the outlet where the carbon cap sits. It is the least vintage shape in Spark's range and the one that belongs on a modern machine — a naked, a supersport, anything with hard edges in its bodywork.

Three Hundred Millimetres

Short by universal-silencer standards, which is what makes it usable where a 350 mm case will not go. On a build with a short subframe or an underslung mount, the extra fifty millimetres of the Force Evo is often the reason it does not fit.

No Certificate, No Exceptions

A universal silencer cannot be homologated, because homologation describes a complete system on a named motorcycle. This case is sold for track machines, custom builds and projects registered under national rules that allow it.
