DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ACCGP MV002 brings the GP Series short-stroke throttle, with its progressive return spring and three-stage preload, to the MV Agusta F3 675 (2012–2020), a fully-faired supersport built around clip-ons where every degree of rotation matters more than it does on an upright naked bike.
Key Features
- MV Agusta F3 675 (2012–2020)
- GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
- Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
- CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
- Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
- Standard throttle assembly refits at any time
Clip-Ons Change What Rotation Costs
Leaning forward onto clip-ons stretches the wrist further than an upright bar ever does, so the F3 675's riding position makes the standard throttle's full rotation feel like more work than the same movement would on a naked bike. Shortening that rotation gives back some of the travel the posture already uses up.
A Progressive Spring for a Precise Engine
The triple under the F3's tank is known for a precise, revvy character, and the new grip's progressive return spring gives the hand a clearer sense of how far it has travelled through the rotation rather than a flat resistance from idle to full throttle.
Three Stages of Preload
The spring's preload is adjustable from outside the housing in three steps, letting a rider set the snap-back to idle firmer or softer without opening anything up, which matters more on a bike ridden hard on track than one used mainly for commuting.
What Changes on a Fast Lap
Riders who take the F3 675 to a circuit tend to notice the shorter throw first on corner exit, where the final part of a wide-open throttle under lean used to ask for a bit more wrist roll than the bike's character really needed.
Milled From Solid Ergal
The housing is machined from a single block of 7075 Ergal rather than cast, which keeps the lever consistent through the far higher number of throttle cycles a track day puts through it compared with road riding alone, session after session.
The Original Grip Stays an Option
Refitting the factory throttle is straightforward at any point, so a rider can commit to the shorter rotation for a season of track days without losing the ability to go back to how the F3 left the factory floor in the first place.
