|---|---|---|
| XS | 53–54 cm | 20.9–21.3 in |
| S | 55–56 cm | 21.7–22.0 in |
| M | 57–58 cm | 22.4–22.8 in |
| L | 59–60 cm | 23.2–23.6 in |

| XXL | 63–64 cm | 24.8–25.2 in |

How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

Wearing a helmet for an entire race day demands more than protection — it demands a fit so precise and an interior so refined that the helmet disappears from your awareness entirely. The Shark Aeron GP FIM 2 Speed-Vib DBR was developed using 3D-scan technology to deliver exactly that: an ergonomic, all-day fit backed by the credentials of FIM FRHPhe-02 homologation and ECE 22.06 approval, housed in a COVA carbon shell that weighs just 1,410 g in size M.
Key Features
- COVA carbon shell — 80% carbon / 20% aramid — combines outstanding rigidity with a weight of 1,410 g (size M, ±50 g) for reduced neck fatigue during long stints
- Dual homologation: ECE 22.06 for road use and FIM FRHPhe-02 (FIM2) for competitive track racing
- 3D-scanned interior with Morpho-Pads, ear pads, antibacterial moisture-wicking liner — removable and washable for lasting freshness
- Glasses-friendly fit and Emergency Quick Release system for confident removal without discomfort
- Visor system rated to optical class 1: anti-fog, scratch-resistant, UV-stable and tear-off compatible — dark smoke visor included
- Ventilation system with 5 inlets and 7 outlets, EPS channel ducting directing airflow over the crown, face and nape
- Compatible with SENA/Sharktooth Bluetooth intercom systems (per Shark catalogue)
Shell Construction and Protection
The COVA structure that defines the Aeron GP shell is not simply a carbon wrap — it is a precisely engineered hybrid laminate in which 80% high-modulus carbon fibres are interwoven with 20% aramid for impact energy distribution. The result is a shell that maintains structural integrity at every impact point while keeping the total helmet weight to 1,410 g in size M (±50 g). The multi-density EPS liner works in concert with that shell, tuning energy absorption characteristics to the severity and angle of any given impact.
That shell geometry was also developed with aerodynamic performance in mind. An adaptive aero spoiler responds to airflow, reducing lift and turbulence at high speed. The wind-tunnel-verified profile keeps the helmet stable and silent even at speeds exceeding 300 km/h, allowing complete concentration on the riding task.
Interior Comfort and Ergonomics
The lead angle for this listing is comfort, and rightly so: Shark invested extensively in 3D-scan-derived head form data when designing the Aeron GP's interior. The Morpho-Pads at the cheeks and the dedicated ear pads are individually adjustable, enabling riders to fine-tune the fit without tool kits or paddock assistance. The antibacterial, moisture-wicking liner pulls sweat away from the skin and remains fresh across a full race day or extended road session. When the day is done, the entire inner assembly lifts out and goes straight into the wash. The helmet also accommodates eyeglass wearers, with a channel profile that prevents frame pressure during long wearing periods.
Visor and Visibility
Optical class 1 certification means the visor introduces no perceptible distortion — critical when reading apex markers at speed. The mounted clear visor ships anti-fog treated and scratch-resistant as standard. A dark smoke visor is included in the box, along with a tear-off set of five laminar films and two anti-fog inserts (summer and winter variants), so the rider is equipped for any light condition from pit lane assembly to the final lap.
Speed-Vib DBR Colourway
The Speed-Vib DBR finish pairs a deep red with high-contrast blue, a colourway that reads assertively on circuit and translates the energy of MotoGP-level racing into a visual identity that is confident without being excessive. The collection sits within the 2025–2026 Shark race helmet range, making it current both aesthetically and technically.
Size Guide
| Size | Head Circumference |
|---|---|
| XS | 53–54 cm |
| S | 55–56 cm |
| M | 57–58 cm |
| L | 59–60 cm |
| XL | 61–62 cm |
| XXL | 63–64 cm |
Measure your head circumference approximately 1 cm above the ears at the widest point to identify your correct size. If you are between sizes, the Morpho-Pads allow for fine adjustment once the helmet is on.
