DescriptionThe whole story▼
Replica Zarco Signature 2026 is the one decor in this batch built around a name rather than a pattern: Johann Zarco's own signature livery for the 2026 season, translated onto the road-going Aeron rather than the FIM-homologated race helmet he actually competes in. The photographed decor shows a striking purple-to-navy gradient with white star graphics and red accents — Carbon Violet Chrom in Shark's own naming, and a livery built to be recognised on sight rather than blended into a colourway grid. Unlike four other decors in this batch, a manufacturer photograph exists for this exact code, and the colour description above is checked against it rather than taken on the supplier's wording alone.
A replica of the road helmet, not the race one
Be precise about what this actually is: a replica of Zarco's signature graphic applied to the Aeron, Shark's road helmet, not the FIM-homologated Aeron GP FIM 2 he wears on track. The Norme code on the price list reads 2206 for this helmet with no FIM suffix — the same road-approval standard every other 2027 Aeron decor carries. The graphic is licensed and genuine; the homologation underneath it is the road one, and this listing does not blur that distinction for the sake of the name on the box. Shark applies the same approach across its range: a signature livery sold on the road helmet, and the FIM-approved race construction sold separately under its own name and its own, considerably higher, price.
Shell: COVA carbon and aramid
The shell itself is unchanged from the rest of this line: Shark's COVA composite, carbon fibre blended with aramid fibre at roughly 80/20, built across two shell sizes rather than one stretched over the whole range. Shark's own spec table for this decor states 1,440 g for the first, smallest shell size — read directly from this product's own listing, matching the figure given for the MotoGP decor sold alongside it in this same batch.
What ECE 22.06 actually tests
Every current Aeron, replica graphic or plain, carries ECE 22.06, the standard that replaced 22.05 as the EU's mandatory approval for newly homologated helmets from January 2024. The test itself grew substantially: eighteen strike points rather than five, across several impact speeds instead of one, plus an entirely new oblique-impact test against an abrasive anvil that measures rotational brain injury risk from a glancing hit — something 22.05 never tested for at all. The visor and any fitted accessory stay on the shell throughout.
Weight as a number your neck carries all day
1,440 g is Shark's own figure for this decor's first shell size, and the number matters well beyond a spec sheet: every gram of it is carried above your neck through an entire ride, not only absorbed in the instant of an impact. A licensed graphic changes nothing about the physics underneath it — the shell weighs what the shell weighs, replica livery or plain black.
Ventilation: five in, seven out
Five intake vents feed seven exhaust ports, an intentionally larger exit path than entry path, built to actively draw warm air away from the head rather than rely on it drifting out on its own. That difference is most noticeable exactly where a MotoGP-style graphic is most likely to be worn — a full track day, in the heat, for hours at a time.
Visor and Pinlock
The fitted visor carries an Optical Class 1 rating with anti-fog and anti-scratch treatment, a tool-free quick-release mechanism, and tear-off posts built in for track use — the last detail genuinely relevant to a helmet wearing a racing livery, not decorative. Pinlock compatibility is standard; the Max Vision 120 housing and the separate Instant Photochromic visor are accessories sold apart from the helmet, not included with this or any current Aeron decor.
Interior and fit
Best Fit interior padding in removable, washable Alvéotech antimicrobial textile, with Easy Fit grooves for glasses wearers and a magnetic double-D buckle for retention. A SHARK Emergency Remove System is built into the cheek pads. Two shell sizes split the six head sizes on offer, XS through XXL, rather than one shell padded out across the whole range.
Wind noise, honestly
A sealed full-face shell is quieter at speed than any open helmet by construction, and this replica graphic changes nothing about that geometry. No manufacturer decibel figure is published for this model, so none is stated here — the wind-tunnel work behind the shell and spoiler targets drag and stability at speed, a related question to noise but not the same measurement.
Where this decor sits on price
Replica liveries sit at the top of the current Aeron range, above graphic decors and plain decors. Zarco's own FIM-homologated race helmet, the Aeron GP FIM 2, is a genuinely different helmet at a genuinely different price, not a cheaper version of the same product.

Spare parts, later
A scratched visor does not retire this helmet, replica livery or not — Shark stocks the Aeron/Aeron GP visor family under its own part numbers across the platform, so a replacement is a routine order rather than a reason to look elsewhere.
What this helmet does not have
Stated plainly: no confirmed SHARP rating applies to this decor. A SHARP entry does exist for an "Aeron GP" tested in August 2025, but it links to a since-discontinued replica decor from an earlier model generation with no confirmed connection to this 2027 shell, and it is not carried over here as settled. No MIPS, no DOT or Snell approval, no wind-noise figure. This replica also carries no racing homologation of its own — the FIM approval belongs to the helmet Zarco actually races in, not to this one, and no source used for this listing gives a reason to believe the two share more than the graphic printed on them.
In the box
The helmet arrives with the visor fitted, a helmet cover, reflective bands, five breath filters and summer/winter anti-fog masks, alongside Shark's documentation for the 5-year warranty.
