DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engineered for riders who refuse to compromise between long-session comfort and peak track performance, the Suomy SR-GP Evo in Glory Race livery wraps your head in a Tri-Fiber composite shell — Kevlar®, carbon and fibreglass working in concert — to deliver a fit that stays confident lap after lap, backed by UNECE 22-06 homologation and wind-tunnel-refined aerodynamics.
Key Features
- Tri-Fiber composite shell (Kevlar®, carbon and fibreglass) balances outstanding impact resistance with a weight of just 1,450 g +/- 50 g in size M, reducing neck fatigue on extended track days.
- Five front air intakes and three active exhaust extractors channel airflow efficiently, keeping your head cool and composed during prolonged race stints.
- Scratch-resistant Optic Class 1 visor paired with the included Pinlock® Max Vision 120 insert eliminates fogging in all weather conditions for unobstructed vision at speed.
- Quick-release visor mechanism allows tool-free swaps between sessions without fuss or downtime.
- Removable and machine-washable interior lining maintains freshness and hygiene across an entire race weekend.
- Camel-Bag hydration system ready, emergency cheek-pad removal, glasses-compatible fit, and double-D-ring retention system for security under the most demanding riding conditions.
All-Day Comfort Engineered for Racers
The SR-GP Evo's interior is where its comfort credentials truly stand out. The anatomically shaped, removable lining conforms to the contours of your skull and stays firmly in position whether you're tucked behind a screen at top speed or managing traffic in the paddock. Emergency cheek pads allow rapid helmet removal should medical assistance be required — a detail that underlines Suomy's commitment to rider welfare without adding bulk or compromising the everyday wearing experience. The glasses-friendly aperture means riders who require corrective lenses are not penalised, and the double-D-ring chin strap delivers a precise, rattle-free fit that holds its adjustment session after session.
Aerodynamics and Shell Construction
Every curve of the SR-GP Evo's outer shell was shaped in the wind tunnel. The Tri-Fiber composite construction — combining the tensile strength of Kevlar® with the rigidity of carbon fibre and the cost-efficient resilience of fibreglass — produces a shell that absorbs and disperses impact energy exceptionally well while keeping overall mass to a minimum. Three rear air extractors create negative pressure that draws warm air away from the head, working in tandem with the five front intakes to sustain comfortable internal temperatures even in summer race conditions.
Visor and Visibility
The scratch-resistant Optic Class 1 visor offers distortion-free vision across its full field of view. The included Pinlock® Max Vision 120 insert — one of the largest anti-fog inserts available — seals against the inner face of the visor to prevent condensation forming under sudden temperature changes, ensuring your sight lines remain uncompromised from the first warm-up lap to the chequered flag.
