The first-generation KTM 1290 Superduke R (2014-2016) loses its stock switchblock when fitted with a Jetprime quick throttle; the JP PDQ KT032 E in Bronze, CNC-cut from Ergal, carries those controls on the throttle body instead.

The Bike That Started the Reputation
This was the Super Duke R before the GT, the EVO or the RR existed: a large V-twin in an unfaired, lightweight chassis built to reward exactly the kind of aggressive riding that makes a shortened throttle action worth fitting in the first place.
No Fairing to Hide Behind
With nothing bodied over the switchgear, a bronze-anodised housing on this generation of Super Duke R is visible in a way it would not be on a faired bike, which puts some pressure on the machining quality to look deliberate rather than bolted-on.
What the Conversion Costs the Rider
Fitting a quick-action throttle removes the stock switchblock along with the throttle assembly it was bolted to. The displaced horn, indicator and light controls need a new fixed point, which this unit provides directly on the replacement throttle body.
Solid Billet Over Die-Cast
CNC machining from a solid block of Ergal produces more consistent wall thickness around the switch cavities than die-casting typically achieves, and the bronze finish is anodised into that machined surface rather than painted over it, a distinction that shows after a few seasons of being removed for servicing.
A Connector Already in Place
Because the loom terminates in KTM's factory connector, installing this switch does not require cutting into the bike's original wiring at any point, which keeps a straightforward reversal possible later, something owners of this generation's Super Duke R increasingly value as the model ages into classic status.
