DescriptionThe whole story▼
Conceived on the drawing boards of Nolan's Italian atelier, the N60-6 Sport in the Verniciatura Speciale 350 livery fuses motorsport-inspired design language with the kind of everyday versatility that makes it genuinely hard to take off. The interplay of matte and gloss grey panels, razor-edged black graphic lines and anthracite accent details gives this helmet a character entirely its own — measured confidence dressed in full Italian style.
Key Features
- Verniciatura Speciale 350 livery: a considered contrast of matte and gloss grey tones with black linework and anthracite detailing drawn straight from Italian motorsport heritage
- ECE 22.06 certified Lexan polycarbonate shell in two sizes (XXS–M and L–3XL) absorbs and disperses impact energy efficiently across the entire size run
- Six EPS liner densities ensure each shell size delivers an optimised fit and consistent protection across XXS through XXXL
- AirBooster ventilation system channels fresh air through chin and crown inlets, exhausting heat via rear outlets to keep the rider cool at any pace
- Ultra-wide panoramic visor with scratch resistance and UV protection ships with a Pinlock anti-fog insert included as standard
- Integrated VPS sun visor with UV 400 protection deploys and retracts at a thumb's touch, eliminating the need to pull over for sunglasses
- Clima Comfort interior — removable, washable, hypoallergenic and EA (Eyewear Adaptive) compatible for spectacle wearers
Design, Finish and Heritage
The Verniciatura Speciale designation marks a finish that sits above Nolan's standard palette. Colour 350 brings together three tones — grey, black and anthracite — in a composition that rewards a second look. Panels shift between a refined matte and a deeper gloss surface, while black graphic lines define the aerodynamic silhouette of the shell. The result is not a shout but a precise statement: Italian craftsmanship made visible without a single unnecessary flourish.
The aerodynamic rear spoiler is not decorative; it is integrated into the shell geometry to promote high-speed stability and reduce buffeting on open-road or track riding. Every surface line flows toward it, making the design feel resolved rather than assembled.
Protection and Construction
Nolan builds the N60-6 Sport shell from Lexan polycarbonate — a thermoplastic chosen for its combination of toughness, deformation behaviour under impact and long-term resistance to UV degradation. The shell comes in two sizes to preserve the geometry and wall-thickness ratios that the ECE 22.06 homologation demands across the full size run from XXS to XXXL.
Safety Highlights
- ECE 22.06 homologation — the current European safety standard for motorcycle helmets
- Lexan polycarbonate outer shell in two shell sizes (XXS–M / L–3XL)
- Six-density EPS liner for size-precise energy absorption and optimum fit
- Microlock double-lever fastening system for fast, secure and repeatable closure
- Compatible with the ESS III emergency brake light system for improved rear visibility
AirBooster Ventilation
Nolan's AirBooster system places controllable inlets at the chin bar and forehead, routing air through internal channels across the EPS liner before exhausting it through rear outlets. The effect is a continuous, directed airflow that prevents heat build-up on long summer tours or sustained track sessions. Ventilation adjusts independently front and rear, letting the rider tune airflow to conditions rather than accepting a fixed compromise.
Clima Comfort Interior
The removable Clima Comfort liner is constructed from a two-layer mesh fabric that wicks moisture and promotes air circulation against the skin. The cheek pads carry interchangeable padding inserts so riders can fine-tune the lateral fit without replacing the whole liner. An adjustable neck roll supports the correct head position during long riding days, and the EA (Eyewear Adaptive) channel system makes sliding glasses on and off a natural motion rather than a fight against the helmet.
Panoramic Visor System
The ultra-wide visor extends the horizontal field of view beyond what a standard aperture allows, which pays dividends in urban filtering and when scanning apexes on twisting roads. The scratch-resistant, UV-stable polycarbonate visor is prepared for and ships with a Pinlock anti-fog insert, keeping the screen clear in cold, wet or humid conditions. The tool-free quick-release mechanism allows visor changes roadside in seconds. A dark-tinted visor is also included in the box.
Fitment and Compatibility
The Nolan N60-6 Sport Verniciatura Speciale 350 is a universal full-face helmet and is not restricted to a specific motorcycle make or model. It is available in sizes XXS through XXXL. Use the head circumference table below to select the correct size — measure approximately 1 cm above the eyebrows for an accurate result.
