DescriptionThe whole story

A naked bike has nothing behind the rider, so a hard stop puts the whole R625 on the front tyre. ZCOO cuts the N007 at 101.5 by 39.0 mm to fill the Nissin caliper window of the R625. What the N007 carries is EX Race: a ceramic sinter tuned for proportionality over attack.

Key Features

  • The N007 is dimensionally stable under the clamping load a Nissin caliper generates
  • Part number Z-N007-EX, EAN 4950545750105
  • Wear indicator geometry unchanged from the standard Nissin pad, so the usual inspection still applies on the R625
  • Front axle only: ZCOO lists no rear pad under the N007 reference
  • Holds its friction level through the heat cycles an R625 front end goes through in a single hard ride
  • Ceramic sintering keeps the coefficient of friction stable across the temperature swing a R625 sees in a single descent

Construction and Material Quality

There is nothing improvised about how a N007 is put together. Heat enters a N007 at the friction face and has to leave through the plate, which is why the alloy matters as much as the mixture. None of it is visible once the N007 is in the Nissin caliper, which is precisely the point.

Performance and Feel

Consistency is the entire argument for the N007 in EX Race form. It works from cold without a warm-up lap and does not turn grabby once the N007 is hot. With no fairing to lean into, the R625 rider needs the N007 to be predictable above all.

Fitment and Compatibility

This reference is catalogued for the Nissin-equipped Voge R625, 2026. Front axle only; the N007 has no rear counterpart in the ZCOO programme. The same N007 shape covers 70 further machines in the 2026 catalogue. Before ordering, check that your caliper takes a pad of 101.5 mm length and 39.0 mm height.

Road Approval

No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this pad. It appears neither in ZCOO's own catalogue nor on the European distributor's site, and no approval number is printed on the packaging data available to us. ZCOO itself describes the compound as suited to competition machines and road machines alike, but that is a description of the mixture, not a type approval. Until the distributor confirms an approval in writing, treat this as a track and competition part: in Germany a replacement brake pad without ECE R90 approval may not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads. Ask us before ordering if you need this clarified for your machine.
