The standard weave covers the whole platform, and the specialised materials appear against the handful of machines that could plausibly want them, so the shape of the listing is itself a recommendation. A listing that ranks nothing

That happens because a supplier lists what physically fits, and every one of these elements fits the same box. So the presence of a dusty-conditions material against a 1290 Super Duke R is a statement about geometry, and it would be there whether or not a single owner ever needed it.

Which leaves the road to decide

The question a P14 answers is what the air carries, not what the engine makes. Gravel on a mountain link road, a summer of harvest traffic, a construction diversion that lasts a season: those are conditions of a route rather than properties of a motorcycle. Where they apply, this element trades roughly two thirds of the standard weave's rate for a much finer rating. Where they do not, the standard weave is the better buy — and neither one makes a standard machine noticeably quicker.

Care and cleaning

Because the PM190P14 stays dry, servicing it is short work. Compressed air applied to the clean face and worked outward pushes the load back out through the surface that captured it, which is the whole of a normal interval. If the material has taken on more than air will move, wash it in lukewarm water with a mild detergent and rinse until the water runs clear.
