DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ESR 007 presents the Panigale V4's suspension controller with the winding resistance it expects to find at the front, so nothing is stored and nothing is flagged.
Key Features
- Ducati Panigale V4 (2018–2024)
- Answers the front electronic suspension circuit
- No warning and no withheld riding modes
- Plugs into Ducati's own connector
- For a conversion to conventional fork cartridges
- Standard fork refits at any time
Six-Axis Measurement
Lean-sensitive traction, wheelie and braking control fed by an inertial platform. Ducati was among the first to fit one and the implementation has stayed at the front of the class.
Why Owners Convert
Electronic legs are expensive to rebuild and the valving is fixed by the manufacturer's own logic. A conventional cartridge or a track shock puts the tuning back in the hands of whoever set it up.
Front and Rear Are Separate
Each end has its own circuit and its own part number. Converting one leg and leaving the other electronic means only that end needs answering.
Where It Mounts
Close to where the original harness ended, secured so it cannot swing into the wheel or the linkage. Cable-tied properly it is invisible and stays that way.
The Health Check
The controller measures the winding it expects to find and compares the result against a stored window. The eliminator sits inside that window and nothing further is asked.
Why Conventional Legs
A fixed valving stack chosen for a rider and a circuit will beat an algorithm's compromise for that rider and that circuit. Everywhere else the argument is less clear.
What the Eliminator Does
It presents a resistance inside the expected window, potted into a body carrying Ducati's own connector. No signal is generated and nothing is intercepted.
The Health Check Happens Every Ride
The controller measures the circuits at every ignition cycle, before the motorcycle has moved. That is why an empty connector produces a warning immediately rather than after a ride, and why a conversion without an eliminator is obvious the first time the key is turned.
