DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Accossato PK025 trades the adjustable PRS pivot used on the PK024 for a single fixed 16 mm lever pivot distance, which Accossato describes as the softest setting in the clutch range: the same 16 mm piston is retained, but the geometry is tuned to need less hand force at the cost of a longer lever stroke. The integrated fluid reservoir, long folding lever with relieving eyelet and seven-colour choice carry over unchanged from the rest of the family.

Key Features

  • 16 mm piston diameter for a progressive clutch release
  • Fixed 16 mm lever pivot distance, the softest setting, with a longer lever stroke
  • Integrated fluid reservoir with a colour-matched cover, adjusting knob and oil level marker
  • Folding lever, long version, with relieving eyelet (RST), seven colours available
  • Forged aluminium body with a CNC-worked cover and lever
  • Offset riser that reduces bending of the master cylinder during gear changes
  • Stainless steel mounting screws and a zinc-plated bleed valve
  • Seals manufactured from Formula 1 compound material

Construction and Material Quality

Hardware wise the PK025 matches the rest of the integrated-reservoir clutch range: a forged aluminium body with the cover and lever CNC worked, stainless steel screws, a zinc-plated bleed valve and seals made from Formula 1 compound. What changes against the adjustable PK024 is purely the lever geometry, since the pivot distance here is cast at a single 16 mm figure rather than offered as a three-position choice. The offset riser and the shortened passive stroke design, which cuts lever travel before the clutch actually disengages by more than half compared with a conventional radial unit, are unchanged across the family.

What a Fixed, Softer Pivot Distance Means at the Lever

Accossato calls the 16 mm pivot distance the softest version in the clutch line because, for the same amount of hand pressure applied at the lever, less physical force is needed to disengage the clutch than with a longer pivot setting such as 17 or 18 mm. The trade-off is lever travel: the stroke needed to fully disengage is longer than it would be on a shorter or adjustable pivot, so riders who value the lightest possible lever action, for example on a long-distance adventure bike ridden mostly in traffic or on gravel, gain comfort at the cost of a slightly less immediate feel at the clutch. Because the pivot is fixed rather than adjustable, there is nothing to set up after fitting; the unit behaves the same way every time the lever is pulled.

Fitment and Compatibility

Our fitment data confirms 51 motorcycles for this clutch master cylinder, among them the BMW F900R (2019-2019), Honda CB1100RS (2017-2017), Kawasaki Z900 (2017-2019) and Suzuki SV650 (2016-2020), across BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki ranges. Exact model years for every confirmed motorcycle are listed in the Fitment tab on this page; cross-check it against your registration before you order.

Road Approval

This master cylinder is not supplied with German road-approval documentation; it is intended for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

The package includes the Accossato PK025 radial clutch master cylinder with its integrated reservoir, fitted with a long folding lever and relieving eyelet (RST) in the colour selected, together with the mounting nut. Stainless steel mounting screws, the zinc-plated bleed valve and the Formula 1 compound seals are assembled on the unit. The stop light switch, available separately as ID001 or ID002, and the mirror holder, available separately as MH009 or MH010, are not included.
