DescriptionThe whole story▼

For the Husqvarna FC 450 built between 2014 and 2020, this Accossato kit replaces the original front and rear brake hoses with a two-piece braided set, keeping the same S-pattern routing the bike came with. The same part number is shared with a wide spread of other off-road machines across three brands, from GasGas motocrossers to several KTM two-strokes and four-strokes built around the same hose layout. The braided sheath resists the stretch that rubber hose shows under repeated lever pressure, which keeps the feel at the lever more consistent ride after ride.

Key Features

  • Two-hose set for the 2014–2020 FC 450, front and rear
  • Standard S-layout routing, unchanged from the stock hoses
  • Stainless steel or painted stainless fittings in five colours
  • Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
  • Shared part number with GasGas and KTM off-road models

Construction and Material Quality

The hoses themselves are stainless braid over the inner line; unlike the kit for the newer FC 450, this part offers a choice of finish, with the fittings available either in bare stainless steel or painted in one of five colours, alongside the usual twenty braid-colour range for the sheath. That gives an older FC 450 more options for matching paint and plastics than the current model's kit allows, without changing anything about how the hose itself is built.

One Part Number, Several Brands

Accossato lists this kit under a single code for a long run of off-road bikes that share the same brake hose pattern, including GasGas's MC 450, several KTM SX two-strokes and four-strokes, and Husqvarna's own TC 150. For the FC 450 specifically, it covers the 2014 to 2020 model years; the FC 450 built from 2021 onward switched to a different kit, AGA0247, which is offered only with stainless fittings and drops the painted-fitting option this older part carries.

Fitment and Compatibility

This kit fits the Husqvarna FC 450 from 2014 to 2020. The same part is also listed for the Husqvarna FC 250, FC 350 and TC 125, and reaches outside the Husqvarna range to the GasGas MC 250 and MC 250F; a longer list of KTM-badged models sharing this hose layout is on the fitment tab, so it is worth checking there before ordering if the bike is not Husqvarna-badged.

Road Approval

Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

The kit contains 2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
