Design & Construction

As a half system, the GDU8847 retains your original Ducati headers, replacing only the collector section onwards with Spark's titanium link pipe and the twin DYNO silencers. This approach preserves the factory-tuned primary exhaust gas flow while delivering a meaningful reduction in unsprung and total system weight. The titanium construction resists the extreme heat cycling that characterises the Panigale V4's 90-degree V4 engine, and the carbon end caps add a further aesthetic and structural touch that reflects genuine race pedigree rather than mere styling.

Installation Notes

The system is fully compatible with the standard Ducati fairing and the factory-mounted tail tidy, making it a straightforward upgrade without bodywork modification. The pillion footrests must be removed prior to fitting. On Euro 5 specification models, the plastic cover of the original collector requires filing back by a few millimetres to allow correct seating of the Spark link pipe — a minor, one-time preparation step.

To extract the full performance benefit of this exhaust, a dedicated race map or a bespoke rolling-road remap is strongly recommended to optimise fuelling to the revised exhaust characteristics.
