The FTRKA009/W is engineered exclusively for GP-shift (reverse shift) operation, where first gear is up and all others are down. This is a deliberate, uncompromising design choice — the geometry of the shift lever and its bearing arrangement are optimised for that specific input direction, delivering cleaner, more positive gear changes under race conditions. The system cannot be converted to standard shift pattern; riders who use GP-shift will find nothing is sacrificed in the name of versatility.

Ergal 7075-T6 is the same high-strength aluminium alloy found in aerospace and motorsport applications. It offers a superior strength-to-weight ratio over conventional 6061 alloy, meaning the rearset handles sustained abuse on track without flexing or fatiguing — yet adds minimal unsprung mass.

Trackday to Track-Only Use

The silver anodised finish and clean CNC detailing make the FTRKA009/W equally at home on a dedicated trackbike or a road-registered ZX-6R that sees regular circuit use.
