Track-Focused Engineering
The Akrapovic E-K10R7 header is a genuine race component, not a street-legal part offered with concessions. The 4-2-1 collector layout is tuned specifically for the ZX-10 R/RR engine map, maximising scavenging efficiency and keeping exhaust gases moving at the velocities needed to support the upper rev range where superbike racing is won and lost. Construction throughout is V4A stainless steel — the same material grade Akrapovic uses in its WorldSBK programmes — and every bracket, gasket and fastener required for installation is included.
Installation & ECU Note
This header is designed for track use only and carries no road approval or noise homologation. For safe, reliable and fully optimised performance, Akrapovic strongly recommends an ECU remap following fitment. Running the stock map with this header will limit the power gains achievable and may affect long-term engine durability. Plan the remap as part of the installation process.
