The high-alloy steel wheel bolt uses a quick-thread design so the axle can be driven home and torqued down in a fraction of the time a standard bolt requires. The dedicated screwdriver slot means a single mechanic can manage the operation efficiently, even under the time pressure of a formation lap warm-up or a mid-session tyre change.

The aluminium threaded bush receives a specialist surface-hardening treatment that resists the galling and wear that repeated assembly cycles would otherwise cause in softer alloy. Paired with the black-anodised lock nut, the assembly holds its setting race after race without needing constant re-checking.

Ergal Spacers and Anticorodal Guard

The Ergal racing spacers are not simply lighter versions of the OEM items. The extended ramp geometry guides the wheel into alignment more positively during assembly, while the asymmetric retaining lip keeps the spacer located on the axle during the handling phase — a small detail that prevents dropped components in a hectic pit box. The Anticorodal wheel bolt guard completes the package, protecting the exposed bolt end from stone strike and contact damage while its freewheeling coupling means it spins independently and never interferes with axle removal.
