Engineering Detail

The angled drilling pattern is the centrepiece of the SSP 6.0 design. Unlike perpendicular holes, the angled bores remove slightly more material in a controlled manner, reducing the disc's contribution to rotating unsprung mass. Less rotating mass at the front wheel translates directly into more agile turn-in, lighter steering and reduced gyroscopic resistance — all qualities that matter acutely when you are threading a Panigale V4 R through a technical section at race pace.

Thermal management is equally central to the design. The hole geometry promotes a more homogeneous temperature distribution across the friction ring, with tested results showing approximately 20% lower peak temperatures compared with conventional drilled discs. Standard disc diameter is 330 mm. A 320 mm version is available on request. Before ordering, please confirm that your brake caliper accepts 6.0 mm thick discs. Each kit contains two discs — one left and one right.
