For riders building a serious racebike or running a dedicated superbike on track, the Talos X75 is a front brake caliper engineered without compromise. The 100 mm mounting pitch, asymmetric P4 piston layout and hard-anodised monoblock body deliver the stopping power, feedback and consistency that competitive SBK and SSP racing demands — at a price point that makes a full caliper upgrade genuinely accessible.

Key Features

  • Monoblock aluminium body machined from a single billet for maximum rigidity — no caliper flex, no spongy lever feel under extreme braking loads
  • Asymmetric P4 piston layout (2 × 32 mm + 2 × 36 mm) produces strong initial bite, linear progression and precise modulation mid-corner
  • Titanium pistons with TiN (titanium nitride) coating for outstanding heat resistance and reduced friction at sustained high temperatures
  • Hard-anodised surface finish withstands repeated thermal cycling and racing pressure spikes while keeping weight to 644 g
  • 100 mm mounting pitch with 30 mm offset fits a wide range of superbike and racebike frames and aftermarket brackets
  • Compatible with brake discs from 290 mm to 330 mm diameter, giving flexibility across different race homologations

Monoblock Construction

Unlike a two-piece caliper, the X75 body is machined from a single aluminium block. The result is a structure that refuses to deflect under hard braking — the lever travel stays consistent from the first lap to the last, the braking point stays predictable, and the transition from trailing brake to release stays under your control. This is the characteristic that separates a genuine racing caliper from an upgraded road part.

P4 Piston Layout and Titanium Pistons

The asymmetric 32/36 mm four-piston configuration is a deliberate engineering choice. The smaller leading pistons create immediate pad engagement; the larger trailing pistons multiply clamping force progressively as lever pressure increases. You get hard initial braking for late braking points combined with fine modulation through the corner. The TiN-coated titanium pistons carry heat away from the brake fluid more slowly than steel alternatives, maintaining fluid integrity and consistent pedal feel across long stints.

Hard-Anodised Finish

The hard-anodised surface is a functional treatment, not decorative. It protects the aluminium body against corrosion from brake dust and track chemicals, resists micro-abrasion from pad debris, and retains its integrity under the repeated heat cycles of SBK-level use. The finish is racing-oriented and is not intended for OEM brake systems or road conditions.

Important: Track Use Only — Not OEM Compatible

The X75 is designed exclusively for racing applications. It is not compatible with standard OEM brake mounts, standard brake discs or road-homologated brake systems. It is engineered for superbike frames, racing chassis, professional performance builds, and SBK, SSP and dedicated track machines. Do not attempt to fit this caliper to a standard road motorcycle or use it with OEM components.
