When lap times and corner entry confidence are non-negotiable, the Talos XS.19 radial brake master cylinder delivers the precision and feedback that track-day riders and full-blown racers demand. CNC-machined from solid billet aluminium and weighing just 312 g, this is a competition-grade master cylinder engineered for 4-pot caliper setups, high-performance sport bikes and serious trackbike builds.

Key Features

  • 19 mm piston produces strong, consistent pressure build-up with immediate lever feedback — ideal for large 4-piston brake calipers and high-performance systems
  • Adjustable lever ratio of 18–20 mm via a stepped click-adjustment system lets you dial in aggressive bite at 18 mm or a more progressive feel at 20 mm
  • CNC-machined billet aluminium housing, black anodised, delivers maximum rigidity, a consistent bite point and minimal weight at 312 g
  • Hard-anodised aluminium piston resists wear and corrosion under sustained track heat
  • Titanium bleed valve and stainless steel clamp and pivot bolts throughout for corrosion resistance and durability
  • Folding brake lever reduces the risk of breakage in a slide or low-speed fall — a critical detail in a racing environment
  • Integrated brake light switch keeps the installation clean with no need for additional components

CNC Billet Construction — Rigidity Without Compromise

The XS.19 housing is milled from a single solid block of aluminium on a CNC machining centre. This one-piece billet construction eliminates the flex and inconsistency inherent in cast units, resulting in a bite point that stays identical from the first lap to the last. Combined with the hard-anodised piston and titanium bleeder, every component is chosen specifically for track conditions where failure is not an option.

19 mm Piston — Built for 4-Piston Calipers

The 19 mm bore is the correct choice for riders running large 4-piston radial calipers — including units from Brembo, Nissin and equivalent systems on most litre-class and middleweight superbikes. The result is a powerful, clean pressure stroke that responds immediately to lever input and communicates exactly what the front tyre is doing under maximum deceleration.

Adjustable Lever Ratio — Your Braking, Your Terms

The stepped click-adjustment mechanism moves the lever ratio between 18 mm and 20 mm without tools. Setting a shorter ratio of 18 mm sharpens the initial bite and reduces lever travel for a more aggressive, race-style feel. Extending to 20 mm softens the progression and lengthens the stroke, which suits riders who prefer a more linear, nuanced modulation — or a different tyre compound that demands a gentler initial input. Whichever track or setup you are running, the correct balance is no more than a few clicks away.

Folding Lever — Race Protection in Practice

In any competitive or high-intensity riding environment, a lever that folds on contact rather than snapping clean off can be the difference between riding away and retirement. The folding brake lever on the XS.19 absorbs the rotation of a tip-over or slide and springs back to position, keeping the machine functional where a rigid lever would be scrap.
