Finer materials retain more and flow less, and that relationship never reverses — which is why the range is a description and not a ladder. The limit belongs here too: an element in a standard airbox will not make a Valico 800 DSX Rally noticeably faster. Compressed air, aimed at the clean face and blown outward, lifts a season's load off the weave.
