That said, to extract the full performance benefit — particularly peak power and mid-range torque — Spark Exhaust and Inter-Pace strongly recommend a bespoke race map or a dyno-tuned fuel injection remap. A correctly mapped ZX-4RR running this system will respond more crisply throughout the rev range and deliver noticeably stronger drive from corner exit to the next braking point.
