Race Heritage and Engineering

The Konix Evo is not a road system adapted for the track — it was conceived in reverse. Spark Exhaust's engineers worked directly with NUOVA M2 Racing Team riders across multiple Italian Superbike seasons, refining header geometry and silencer volume to extract every usable horsepower from the RSV4's V4 engine. The titanium construction was chosen not simply for weight but because it withstands the extreme thermal cycling a V4 superbike generates in sustained hard use, resisting distortion and corrosion long after a stainless system would show fatigue.

Road and Track Versatility

The removable dB killer is the detail that makes the Konix Evo genuinely dual-purpose. Fitting it brings the measured output to approximately 104 dB — a figure that puts you firmly within the acceptable range at the vast majority of noise-monitored track days while retaining the sharp, crisp V4 character the system is tuned for. Remove it for open sessions and the exhaust note opens to approximately 109 dB, with the kind of aggressive, flat-plane V4 soundtrack that the RSV4 was always meant to have. For road use, Spark recommends verifying local noise regulations before removing the dB killer.

To extract the full performance benefit, a dedicated race map or professional dyno tune is strongly recommended. The header and silencer geometry is optimised for a free-flowing calibration — a standard ECU map will not realise the system's complete power and throttle-response potential.
