The tooth count you select directly shapes how your ZX-10R behaves out of a corner, on a fast motorway stretch, or at the end of a straight. A smaller 13-tooth sprocket shortens the overall gearing ratio, sharpening acceleration and making the engine feel more responsive — useful for technical circuits and twisty B-roads. Moving up to a 17-tooth sprocket lengthens the ratio, reducing engine revs at cruising speed and raising top speed potential on longer runs. Compatible with 520 pitch chains only. Confirm your current chain pitch before ordering — this sprocket is not suitable for 525 or 530 pitch chains.
