sidi-tecno-3-iron-roarr-52222
Sidi Tecno 3 Iron for Roarr – Boot Spare Part

On the Sidi Roarr, the Tecno-3 dial closure does most of the work of holding the foot in place, and the part Sidi calls the Tecno 3 Iron is one of the hard-plastic pieces that belong to that closure assembly. When it has cracked after a crash or worn after many seasons, this original item lets the Roarr be brought back to working order instead of being retired.

Key Features

Original Sidi part for the Roarr road boot

Belongs to the Tecno-3 closure assembly

Listed as position 148 in the Sidi spare-parts chart

Hard-plastic construction

Single universal version, no size choice needed

Role in the Closure

Tecno-3 is Sidi's dial-and-cable system: turning the control tightens a cable that pulls the upper around the instep and ankle. Every piece of that chain has to sit firmly on the shell, otherwise tension is lost or the cable runs at the wrong angle. The Tecno 3 Iron is part of this hardware, so a broken one usually shows up as a closure that no longer locks down evenly.

Which Boot It Is For

Sidi names only the Roarr for this item. Other boots that also use a Tecno-3 dial may carry differently shaped hardware, so compare the shape of your old piece and the number 148 on the Sidi chart before ordering for any other model.

What You Should Know

Specific to the Roarr as named by Sidi

Check position 148 on the Roarr exploded drawing

Sidi advises having closure parts fitted by a dealer or following its spare-parts chart

One version covers every boot size

Specifications

Brand

Sidi

Part

Tecno 3 Iron

Sidi part no.

52222

Sidi position no.

148

Fits

Roarr

Sizes

One size

Material

100% Hard plastic
