The EYELIGHTS visor head-up display and premium intercom system is the world's first HUD engineered to integrate seamlessly and completely into a production motorcycle helmet. It projects the information you actually need directly into your field of view, connects you to an unlimited number of fellow riders, and delivers genuinely powerful sound — all from a system that disappears entirely into the shell of the GT-Air3 SMART.

Keep Your Eyes on the Road

Once paired with an Android or iOS smartphone, the system projects your speed, GPS navigation, incoming calls and current music playback into the helmet's integrated sun visor. The image appears to float roughly three metres ahead of you, so your eyes stay focused at road distance rather than refocusing on a close-up screen. The EYELIGHTS app required to run the HUD lets you position the projection and choose exactly which information is displayed.

The result is that you receive what matters without ever taking your eyes off the road — a real gain in active safety as well as riding comfort.

Clear in Daylight and After Dark

The ultra-bright Nano OLED display delivers 5,000 nits and projects in Full HD quality onto a freely selectable spot within a defined area of the QSV sun visor, developed specifically for the GT-Air3 SMART with its special projection coating. The sun visor does not need to be fully deployed to use the HUD. That brightness is what makes the system usable in direct sunlight just as readily as in poor light or full darkness.

Unlimited Range, Unrestricted Connectivity

The integrated premium intercom module delivers powerful sound, features a microphone with active noise cancellation, and supports both the Siri and Google voice assistants. With an online and an offline mesh mode it offers unlimited range to an unlimited number of connected riders, plus compatibility with all common communication systems, over a usage time of up to ten hours.

System Components

This is not a single bolt-on box. The EYELIGHTS system is a set of purpose-built components that install into the prepared recesses and cable channels of the GT-Air3 SMART, so nothing protrudes and nothing is improvised:

• Optical module — the Nano OLED projection unit that puts the image into the sun visor
• Battery pack — slim, positioned at the rear of the shell
• Premium speakers — a stereo pair seated in the helmet's ear recesses
• Premium microphone — with active noise cancellation for clear speech at speed
• Antenna — routed flat inside the shell for mesh range
• Side controllers — operable with gloves on, without taking a hand off the bar for long

Fitment and Compatibility

This system is designed exclusively for the Shoei GT-Air3 SMART. It installs into the SHOEI COMLINK interface using the recesses in the ear area and the pre-routed cable channels built into that helmet, and it relies on the projection-coated QSV sun visor that is unique to the SMART variant. It is not compatible with the standard GT-Air3 or with any other Shoei model. The helmet must be purchased separately.
