Before ordering, it helps to know what the list does and does not tell you about the two.

Key Features

Chin cover for the Spartan

Black (BLK)

Universal

Listed weight 12 g

Supplied as

One chin cover in black, variant AC5065PBLKTU. Customs code 6117100000. No fixings are mentioned.

Fitting

The cover sits inside the lower edge of the chin bar. Remove the old one and keep it at hand. Offer up the new cover in the same orientation, press it home at every mounting point, and then close the chin strap with the helmet on. It must not rub against the chin or trap the strap. A properly seated cover stays quiet at speed; one that flutters needs another press.

Fitment

The Spartan, via the AC50 number range: another line of that range, AC5060P, carries the helmet in Shark's model column. AC5065P itself does not, so treat the assignment as derived.

Ordering by part number

Three Spartan chin cover numbers exist. AC5060P and AC5065P have identical names, CHIN COVER and BAVETTE ANTI REMOUS, but the list gives AC5060P 43 g and AC5065P 12 g, with AC5065P the more expensive of the two. It does not say why. AC5067P is described as the removable part of a chin cover. Read the number off the part you have; it is the only way to be sure you receive the same piece.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/AC5065P-10650349502730-v2-platzhalter.png?v=1790599432
