Build Quality and Materials

SC-Project chose AISI 304 stainless steel for the header because of its exceptional resistance to heat cycling and the mechanical stresses inherent in track use. Every joint is T.I.G.-welded to exacting tolerances, producing smooth internal surfaces that encourage laminar gas flow rather than turbulence. The titanium silencer body keeps mass to an absolute minimum while the carbon fibre end cap adds a visual signature consistent with genuine racing hardware. CNC-machined titanium bushings guarantee repeatable, rattle-free fitment lap after lap, and the metal-protected mounting springs are dimensioned for the vibration loads of sustained track sessions rather than occasional road use.

Performance and Sound

Removing the catalytic converter and redesigning the gas path from header to silencer exit allows the R7 engine to breathe more freely across the entire rev range. The documented gains — +2.8 hp and +2.8 Nm at the respective peak points — combine with the 4.6 kg mass reduction to produce a noticeably more responsive motorcycle. Sound output is adjustable via the supplied dB-killer: 106 dB at 4,375 rpm for controlled circuit sessions, or 109 dB at 4,375 rpm with the killer removed for unrestricted race use.
