The CR-T's canister, link pipe and mounting hardware are united by TIG-welding techniques honed on the World Championship circuit, producing joins that are both lighter and stronger than conventional fabrication methods. CNC-machined titanium bushings guarantee a rattle-free, precise fit against the Yamaha's subframe mounts, while the titanium end-cap resists the sustained heat loads that come from hard road or track use without discolouration or distortion. The carbon heat shield is not a cosmetic afterthought — it actively protects adjacent bodywork and the rider's leg from radiated heat, and it gives the system the unmistakable, purposeful silhouette that has made the CR-T one of the most recognisable silencers in the paddock.

Performance and Sound

The CR-T's internal geometry has been developed directly from SC-Project's competition exhaust programmes. Optimised exhaust gas routing sharpens throttle response across the mid-range and extends pull through to the top of the R1's rev band, delivering the measurable power and torque increases noted above without touching the ECU. The acoustic signature is equally impressive: a deep, pressurised racing tone that builds urgently as the revs rise — exactly what you would expect from a silencer born in MotoGP. With the supplied dB killer fitted, the system meets all EURO 5 road-use regulations while retaining a genuinely thrilling exhaust note.
