Performance Gains

Removing the factory catalyst and replacing it with the included cat replacement pipe frees the exhaust path and allows the engine to breathe properly. On the ZX-10 R/RR (2016–2020) dyno-tested figures show +13.8 hp at 9,000 rpm, +10.8 Nm at 6,750 rpm, and a total weight saving of 5.1 kg compared to the stock exhaust system. The result is sharper throttle response, stronger mid-range pull, and noticeably improved agility through fast direction changes on track.

Sound Character

The SC-Project S1 produces a deep, full-bodied racing tone that is immediately recognisable on any circuit. Measured sound output is 118 dB at 6,500 rpm — raw, authoritative, and completely in keeping with a machine built to win in WSBK.

Materials and Construction

Every component in this system is chosen to meet the demands of professional racing. The main body is formed from titanium for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The end cap is manufactured from heat-resistant carbon fibre, aerodynamically shaped to suit the ZX-10 R's tail section. High-temperature acoustic packing inside the canister controls pressure losses while shaping the exhaust note, and all welding is carried out by hand using the T.I.G. process for consistency and durability.
