Design, Finish and Heritage

The Trofeo system is not a universal aftermarket exhaust dressed up in racing colours — it is a purpose-built race tool that was shaped alongside the RS 660 from the ground up. The titanium header reflects SC-Project's long collaboration with MotoGP and World Superbike programmes: raw, brushed titanium that ages with character on the track, paired with an SC1-R canister that is available either in matching titanium or in woven carbon. Both finishes are defined by the carbon end cap, giving the system a visual coherence that looks as deliberate on the paddock stand as it does at speed.

The single-seat mounting bracket is integral to the design intent. Removing the pillion footpegs is recommended — they are not compatible with this system — and the result is an aggressive, tail-up stance that signals exactly what this machine is built for.

Performance and Sound

With the lambda sensor provision retained and a plug-and-play fit direct from the Aprilia Racing parts programme, installation is straightforward. The 2-1 collector geometry is optimised for the RS 660's parallel-twin characteristics, broadening mid-range torque while the titanium mass reduction lowers rotational and unsprung weight simultaneously. The dB-killer is included for circuits that enforce noise limits, keeping the system at 101 dB at 5,250 rpm — remove it and the system opens to a full 105 dB race note.

Fitment and Compatibility

This exhaust is designed exclusively for the Aprilia RS 660, model years 2020 to 2024. It is a race-only product with no road type approval. Removal of the pillion footpegs is recommended as they are not compatible with the single-seat bracket supplied.
