Every millimetre of its construction — from the 4 mm acrylic body to the 2 mm rounded safety edge — reflects the precision manufacturing that has made Puig a trusted name on trails and touring routes worldwide.

Key Features

High-resistance thermoplastic polymer construction with 4 mm wall thickness for exceptional rigidity and long-term dimensional stability.

2 mm rounded perimeter edge eliminates sharp corners, improving both rider safety and the screen's visual integration with the Tiger 1200 GT Explorer's adventure aesthetic.

Effective UV protection prevents yellowing and hazing over years of sun exposure, maintaining optical clarity on long-distance tours.

Aerodynamically developed and validated in a virtual wind tunnel against the original screen, delivering measurably improved airflow management and high-speed stability.

Homologated to ABE KBA 38182 VS2 and DOT 1312, and manufactured in compliance with German TÜV quality standards — road-legal confidence straight out of the box.

Tool-friendly fitment designed for home installation without workshop assistance, with aerodynamic study documentation included in the package.

Precision Construction, Premium Outcome

Puig's Barcelona design team developed this Touring Screen specifically to complement the wide, upright proportions of adventure-trail machines. The high-resistance thermoplastic polymer used throughout is the same class of material trusted in demanding motorsport applications — stiff enough to hold its aerodynamic profile under motorway buffeting, yet impact-resistant enough to withstand the minor knocks that come with off-road exploration. At 956 g the screen adds minimal unsprung mass while delivering a meaningful upgrade over the standard fitment in both function and finish.

Aerodynamics and Rider Comfort

The screen's touring geometry channels airflow up and over the rider without introducing the turbulence that plagues taller aftermarket screens. Puig's engineers validated the profile in a virtual wind tunnel, comparing it directly against the Tiger 1200 GT Explorer's original screen. The result is a quieter, more stable ride at cruising speeds — particularly valuable on the extended highway stages that the GT Explorer was built for. The screen's width is calibrated to protect without encroaching on peripheral vision, so long-day comfort never comes at the expense of situational awareness.

Fitment and Compatibility

This Puig Touring Screen is designed and tested specifically for the following motorcycle:

Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer (2022–2025)

Please check the ABE documentation carefully to confirm this part is approved for your specific motorcycle registration.

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Material

High-resistance thermoplastic polymer

TÜV

Complies with the quality standards of the German TÜV certification

Aerodynamic

Improves airflow and stability

Rounded Profile

Rounded finish for improved safety and aesthetics

UV Resistant

Effective protection against ultraviolet solar rays

Weight

956 g

Homologation

ABE KBA 38182 VS2, DOT 1312

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/cut_32_3dbd8154-1e34-4270-a797-03a7615e1312.png?v=1783972091
