The Piega R carries a lineage that stretches back through decades of Italian motorsport engineering. Where many aftermarket wheels settle for cosmetic changes to a standard cast design, the Piega R was conceived on the race circuit and refined in the pits. Its five-spoke architecture is not decorative — spoke placement and section profiles are the result of load-path analysis carried out by OZ's racing engineers, ensuring each gram of material is doing meaningful structural work.

Both available anodised finishes — techno black and techno gold — are applied directly to the aluminium substrate rather than painted over it, which means the surface is integral to the alloy rather than a layer sitting on top. The result is a finish that resists track abuse, chain oil, and tyre mounting without the peeling or chipping that plagues lesser wheels. The spoke geometry reads as a premium statement whether the bike is being scrutineered in the pit lane or displayed in the paddock.

Track Performance

Rotating unsprung mass is one of the most consequential variables in how a motorcycle steers.
